No. The Johnson Family Foundation is the initiator and founding member
of the Grand Concourse. But we are two completely separate
organizations, with different mandates. |

You can drop by our office at 439 Allandale Road (across from the
entrance to the Pippy Park Golf Course) and purchase a copy. They can
also be obtained at the Johnson GEO Centre, Railway Coastal Museum, the
Downhomer or at our online store. |

The Grand Concourse Authority maintains the walks and some green spaces
within Pippy Park and the City of St. John's. The City of Mount Pearl
is responsible for maintaining its walks and the Town of Paradise is
responsible for the walks within its municipality. Parks Canada
maintains the walks within the Signal Hill boundry. Memorial
University completes maintenance for the MUN Visitors Walk. One
section of the Long Pond walk is maintained by the GCA on behalf of
Memorial Universary. |

The Grand Concourse Authority is supported by our board membership made
up of federal, provincial and muncipal groups. Financial support is
provided through our board membership. In order to complete or enhance
some of our special projects, we also depend upon corporate
sponsorships and Governement funding agencies. Donations and contributions can also be made to the Grand Concourse in support of our community endeavours. |
