Planned & Future Projects
Here are just some of the projects we are working on:
 
Bidgood Park Heritage Centre
 
 
We are continuing to develop and plan for this new park space and are currently seeking funds and support for the construction of a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified community centre for the park. This 1.5 million dollar facility will be the focal point for the park and will reflect the rich agricultural heritage of the Goulds community.
 
Bannerman Park Master Plan
 

A new Bannerman Park Steering Committee has been formed and the Grand Concourse looks forward to working with them on revising and implementing the park Master Plan.  Design work will begin this year.

Southlands to Bidgood Park Walkway

As part of a plan to connect Bowring Park to Bidgood Park through walkways, we are looking forward to the first phase of  development which will link Southlands to Bidgood Park.

Easter Seals House
 
Once the new Easter Seals House is constructed on Mount Scio Road, the Grand Concourse Authority, at the request of Easter Seals Newfoundland and Labrador, will undertake the landscaping of this beautiful new facility in Pippy Park.
 
Interesting, unique and fully accessible outdoor features will include a therapy garden, an outdoor basketball court, a wheelchair accessible challenge course, a giant swing and a fully accessible sensory playground.
